PAC promotional posters

The first two posters below were created to promote a concert called "Playing for Peace" before the Principia College Public Affairs Conference. I took inspiration from several artists who repurpose weapons into sculptures and functional pieces. Additional inspiration came from the biblical verse: "They will beat their swords into plowshares and their spears into pruning hooks" (NIV Isaiah 2:4). In the first poster, Nelson Mandela, Gandhi, and the Dalai Lama are using repurposed weapons to play songs of peace. In the second poster, doves fly around a tree made of weapons and instrument leaves. These posters were printed in various sizes and distributed around the campus.
The final poster was created to support a cereal bar before the conference, where students could learn more about the conference while having a study break and free snack. The photo was taken after painstakingly gluing pieces of cereal together.
